Cycle the Sea to Sea Cycle Route
The Sea to Sea or C2C Coast to Coast cycle route is without doubt the most popular route in the country. Starting from the west coast in Cumbria at either Workington or Whitehaven and finishing on the East Coast at either Sunderland or Tynemouth, this route is on every cyclists “bucket list” and is a must to “tick off”!
With a total distance of just under 140 miles /225km, starting on the west coast of Cumbria and riding due east to end up on the eastern coast of Tyne & Wear. The Sea to Sea Cycle Route takes in the open moorland and hills of the North Pennines and is a ride not to be missed.
Some want to challenge themselves and ride it in a day, others want to enjoy the stunning scenery and do the distance over a week, whatever your personal choices this is a beautiful, challenging ride that will lift your spirits.
